On July 17, 2018 the Beaverton Arts Foundation was proud to announce that our anonymous $13M donor to the Beaverton center for the arts is Pat Reser, who made this transformative pledge possible through the Reser Family Foundation. With that pledge came the official name of the center, the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts!

Executive Director, Lani Faith, kicked off the event and had the opportunity to introduce a dedicated and passionate champion of the arts, Jordan Schnitzer. He, along with his mother Arlene Schnitzer, pledged a lead gift of $1M through the Harold & Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation. Following Jordan, Beaverton Mayor Denny Doyle was honored to reveal the generous “anonymous” donor as long time Beaverton resident and philanthropist Pat Reser along with the new name of the Center. Pat took the stage to share her inspiring story and commitment to give back to the community and her vision for this project impacting generations to come. The program came to an emotional close with Beaverton superstar Julianne Johnson singing “One Moment in Time” as an anthem of courage to Pat. It truly was one very special moment in time for everyone attending the event.

Several members of the media were present to cover the momentous story. Watch out for coverage of the event on your local news stations and in the papers. Below are a few stories that have run so far!
